September 12, 2007 – Preservatives, we live forever.

Oh it was a summer that we will never forget – only because we filmed most of it! You can watch our 8 videos here: HERE.

Unfortunately, we did not win the Virgin contest. After investing countless hours creating and promoting these videos, it was disheartening to learn that the contest was most likely rigged from the very beginning. Indie bands are hard–pressed as is to get any legitimate support, and these kinds of deceitful ploys only add insult to injury. I am not bitter about losing the contest, but I am pissed about being treated like a pack-mule to generate free media and valuable web traffic for rich assholes who don't give a shit about independent Canadian music. On to better vibes…

Our latest EP, 'Take What you Want', hit NUMBER ONE on CIUT 89.5 Toronto (Sept 2007) and has been charting for 5 consecutive weeks! As well, we hit no.15 on CKLU 96.7 Sudbury, no.19 on CKXU 88.3 Lethbridge, and no.11 on CKMS 100.3 Waterloo. Thanks to those stations for making our disc "The Little E.P. that Could"!

June 22, 2007 - If the kids are united then we'll never be divided

Eden Ants are competing to get an opening slot at Toronto's biggest festival, Virgin, and we thought to ourselves: what do people always do when they need to influence things that are out of their control?

April 24, 2007 – “military fashion show"

Thanks so much for all those that came out to our EP Release party! We REACHED CAPACITY and played to a sold-out crowd – that felt very nice. November 20, 2006 - "take what you want!"


Wow – it’s been a long time since we’ve updated here. The summer has come and gone and as a souvenir we have our smash new EP “take what you want”. We had a great time in NYC with the Macchiato Kids making this record a ruthless dazzler – and now we are preparing to herald it to the world!
